Aspire 3D was launched by the Loveland Housing Authority (LHA) in 2018 with the goal of providing better services and resources to people living in affordable housing communities. A steering committee of local stakeholders met for over a year, guided by the vision of LHA’s Executive Director at the time, Sam Betters, to outline the needs, available resources and model for Aspire 3D. The name for the organization was inspired by a poster in Sam’s office: Dream, Dare, Do, which embodies the spirit of Aspire 3D and what we hope to accomplish with our partners and clients. Aspire 3D’s innovative model includes placing navigators in communities to work alongside residents. Together, navigators and residents identify the strengths and needs of each community and build out partnerships and programs that inspire people to Dream, Dare and Do.
